Crispus Attucks (1723? - March 5, 1770)

Crispus Attucks was the first person to die in the American Revolution. He stood up for his country and gave his life for his country. Attucks died at the Boston Massacre. Crispus Attucks was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. Attucks was the American son of a native African father and a woman belonging to the Natick Indian tribe. He was a slave in Framingham but he ran away from his master to work on the docks of the Whale ships. Crispus Attucks was famous because he was an American Patriot and he was also the first person to die in the Boston Massacre.
