Adrian 'Cap' Anson

Adrian "Cap" Anson was born in Iowa in 1851. Anderson played first base for 22 seasons for 1876 to 1897. He played for the National League's Chicago. Adrian "Cap" Anson is credited for inventing the hit-and-run play. Adrian is a member of baseball's Hall of Fame.
