Charles Carroll was born in 1737. Charles Carroll was one of four men from Maryland who signed the Declaration of Independence. He is the only man to include his address. This was a very brave thing to do because if America has lost the Revolutionary War, the first people the British would have looked to capture would have been the signers of the Declaration.
Charles Carroll died in 1832. He was the last of the 56 signers to die. He died in his home at the age of 95.
